What is an Organisation?

Welcome, intrepid user! In the world of Vismo, an Organisation is much more than just a grouping of users - it’s the central hub that powers teamwork, collaboration, and shared success.

An Organisation represents a business, team, or group of users working together. Here’s how it works:

• Effortless Collaboration: An Organisation owns its projects, so members can find, share and join them. See Project User Roles & File/Folder Permissions.
• Usage & Billing Overview: View your Organisation’s subscription plan and how much of it you’re using, all in one place. See Monitor Your Organisation’s Usage.
• Role-Based Permissions: Each member has an organisation role. Admins have full access to the organisation and can manage its users and delete it. Members can see and create the organisation’s projects. Viewers can see all of the organisation’s projects.

You can belong to more than one Organisation. When you do, Vismo asks which one you mean - for example when you open Organisation in the left-hand menu or create a project.

Note: You need to be part of an Organisation to create projects. So, make sure to set one up or join your team’s to unlock Vismo’s full capabilities!
