Scale, Rotate, Transform

Vismo gives you control to move, resize and rotate objects in the viewer - from 2D drawings to complex 3D models. Whether you're aligning plans, adjusting model views, or polishing up scans, it’s all possible right inside the Vismo viewer.

What Can You Transform?

You can move, resize, and rotate:

• Images (JPG, PNG, etc.)
• DWG, DXF drawings
• 3D models (GLB, OBJ)
• Point clouds (LAS, LAZ)
• BIM files (IFC)

How to Transform in the Viewer

Step 1: Select the object

Open your file or board in the Vismo viewer. Switch to Select Mode (shortcut V) and click the object you'd like to transform.

Move

• Click Move selected object(s) in the viewer toolbar (shortcut M)
• Use the central grabber to move your object along the X, Y, or Z axis

Resize

• Click Resize selected object(s) (shortcut T)
• Use the grabbers around the object to scale it proportionally or along a specific axis

Rotate

• Click Rotate selected object(s) (shortcut R)
• Use the rotate handles to spin your object in the direction you need

Made a mistake? Use Undo and Redo in the toolbar.
